Mahaweli river 🏞

                                                                                   The mahaweli ,kelani,kalu,walewe a river that flows from the top of the samanala mountainas, feeds the country is agriculture and bydropower🏞🌾☘️
              The mahaweli river is the longest river in sri lanka. it is 355km or 208 mile long and flows into the kottiyar bay in trincomalee. 🏞

                 

The Hatton plateau starts from the singamale reservoir and is fed by the kotmale, aban, Hatton, and Badulla rivers. 
             1/6 from Sri Lanka belongs to the mahaweli river. 

kotmale /Rantabe hydro power plant. 
             The manampitiya bridge once the longest bridge  in sri lanka was across this river.
